All Twittered Out

Unfortunately most American’s lives are not as exciting as that of Ashton’s or Oprah’s or even Larry’s, which explains why researchers found that approximately about one month after users complete their first “tweet” on the social networking tool, about sixty percent of them do not return.

According to David Martin, vice president of primary research for Nielsen Online, the newly popular networking site is slowly losing its appeal on the average Joe, with only the retention rate around forty percent.

But it is really any huge surprise that most of us aren’t constantly twittering away? Unlike the Ashton Kutcher’s or Britney Spears’ of the world, most of us are just either too busy, too born or just too preoccupied with more important things going on in the world and in our own lives. It’s highly unlikely strangers or even our peers would want to read what’s going on in our day. Sure, that meeting was quite exciting! Right…

So I guess that means I have about another two weeks before I starting twittering down to a mere tweet.

That is correct! I actually don’t have any idea why people should tweet. I have an account but my last tweet was like on March??
