Britney Spears Looking Good

Britney Spears has not only made a comeback as a performer with her super-successful Circus tour (although it is more artistically successful than financially successful at last count) and her string of excellent videos that keep appearing on VH-1 Countdown Top 20. She also recently appeared in the April 2009 issue of Maxim Germany looking totally awesome. As usual, there is lots of crazy, unsubstantiated news about Britney missing Kevin Federline and being upset because he recently became engaged and about her having paranoid delusions and behaving like a maniac, but the pictures at least tell us the truth that she has worked hard to get back into fighting shape and she at least seems serious about reclaiming her position as Queen of Pop. Even allowing for the possibility of airbrushing, the series of photos in Maxim Germany are really excellent. Lately, I enjoy reporting about Britney because I had bought into the media depictions that made her seem hopelessly crazy. I’m glad to be wrong.

Her next performance is April 24th in Phoenix,AZ where she is appearing with the Pussycat Dolls.

According to recent news, she is trying to expand the tour to Europe and/or Australia, but that issue has to be decided by a judge due to restrictions put on her by the court.
