Chilling Out to A Lull: Album Review

With subdued singing and reliance on electronic instruments and sounds, A Lull can perhaps be though of as the next generation Death Cab for Cutie. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. A Lull’s careful and impressive mixing of genres is catchy enough to appeal to those pop loving teens and complex enough to captivate those older music snobs. Ultimately, this 4-song album, titled Confetti Reprise, is just a small taste of the awesomeness that’s sure to come from A Lull.
Check out the song: “The Pit.” This song’s mix of tribal beats and soft chanting makes it reminiscent of Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up.”
