Heroes In A Half Shell…

TURTLE POWER! Don’t deny it! If you’re between the ages of 20-30, then youknow the words to one of the 90′s most popular cartoon theme songs, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

After already releasing four movies, the most recent being the 2007 release, TMNT, with the voices of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patrick Stewart and Chris Evans, the reptilian superheroes will take another go at the big screen in 2011. According to Variety, the film is projected to be produced by Galen Walker, producer of the 2007 animated version, along with Scott Mednick, who is credited with producing Superman Returns, Beerfest and 10,000 BC.

Just last Thursday, April 23, 2009, the Tribeca Film Festival celebrated the 25th anniversary of the very first TNMT movie, which starred our favorite sewer-shelled defenders, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello.

Let’s just hope the 2011 film is definitely more wicked, bodacious, radical and totally tubular than the last one.
