Jon and Kate, and Enough Already?

The emotional rollercoaster of Jon and Kate’s marriage has picked up and additional rider — the viewers.

Once entralled by the absurdely angelic eght-some, the Gosselins became the apple of America’s eye. This was until a few months ago, when affair rumors on both side of the marriage spread high and low.

The couple went from C-list cuties to A-list drama queens, splashed on the cover of every tabloid in America — and now it seems the end is near.

Over seven million of the 10 million viewers who turned in for the season premiere record breaker on June 8, tuned out for the June 15 follow up episode — a clear sign that we’ve had enough.

But today, word came — via promotional commercial— that the June 22 episode will include a “life changing decision” and new “announcement.” Dare we think the words “divorce” will be uttered in this previously sickeningly sweet show? Or will we even care enough to tune in to watch?

Spankings, one night stands, bikini fresh bodies and security guard loving aside, perhaps TLC (and the paparazzi) need to turn off the cameras and let this family end the madness with some dignity.
