Scott Ruffalo, died today, one week after being shot. Our condolences go out to Mark and his Family.

According to reports by TMZ, Scott Ruffalo, a hairdresser and the brother of actor Mark Ruffalo, is in critical condition after being shot in the head on Monday at his Beverly Hills home.

A source said Scott Ruffalo, 39, was shot in the head early Monday and rushed to the hospital after emergency workers were summoned by a 911 call.

Details were sketchy and Beverly Hills cops would not release the victim’s identity or even confirm that he was shot.

“If there was a shooting, our detectives would investigate whether it was homicidal, accidental or suicidal,” said spokesman Lt. Tony Lee.

“We haven’t pinpointed anything yet.”

Besides “Zodiac,” Mark Ruffalo has appeared in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “You Can Count on Me,” and most recently “13 Going on 30.”
