Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin to Co-host the 82nd Academy Awards

Acting veterans Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will co-host the 82nd Annual Academy Awards on Monday, March 7th in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be aired live on ABC-TV.

Martin previously hosted the 73rd and 75th Academy Awards shows (he earned an Emmy for his first presentation) and this will be Baldwin’s first time. However, Alec Baldwin has served as a presenter in the past. He also received an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Cooler.

Their combined humor and stage presence should bring out the best that the Oscars have to offer. The two also co-star in the romantic comedy It’s Complicated, along with Meryl Streep, which hits theaters next month.
